I always set strong passwords as hackers have an easy time of things if one is to do less. I know of several cases (none of my clients fortunately) where friends / relatives have had soft passwords and their accounts have been hacked (sometimes by bots (robots) who do not tire) and then the account used to send spam. Needless to say that would be very embarassing for a business – not to mention that your email content is now in the hands of someone else – and to be avoided at all cost. A strong password is your first line of defense.
I don’t worry about remembering these passwords as I use a password management program – 1Password – referenced below.
