This section will focus on getting rid of unwanted
emails without reading them / opening them on a Mac
computer.
Generally, it could relate to selection in the finder,
or on a PC the actions translate by substituting
a different keyboard key for the Mac's Command (Apple)
key.
To delete multiple emails without reading or opening,
click on one of your "keeper" emails (one
that you want to keep) (strategy) and then command
click (hold down the key with the apple and click)
on the others that you want to get rid of, thereby
selecting them. Once you have all that you want to
get rid of selected, go back and de-select that one
you wanted to keep by simply command clicking on
it. Now you can release the command key and hit delete.
(or even better, if they are from unwanted sources
- Bounce them - it makes it look like your address
is not valid - which is a desirable illusion to hand
the spammers).
Note: You can do this in any order.
Tip: I suggest
keeping your finger down on the command button
throughout the process so that
if you "miss" you don't have to start over.
In fact, keep the Command key depressed for 100%
of this process from the moment where instruction
is given to begin using it (above).
