Your control panel allows you to change your password, set spam filters, create and control auto-responders, setup groups, create alias email addresses and more.
go to
http://[yourdomainname.com]:8443
click through the identity messages, if any,
and login with your email username and password. The username format is the same as for webmail, above.
PASSWORDS:
We have provided you with a strong, random password.
If you want to change your password to something else, click on the little "preferences" icon in the top left and create whatever password you like so long as it doesn't include any part of the email address.
Please note - there ARE entities out there who attempt to break passwords and then use the accounts for sending spam emails. This can cause serious problems. We strongly suggest that you choose a password of 8-10 characters and include a number and a special character like "!"
While in the control panel, you might explore around. A few features which one may use regularly are the autoresponder and the spam filter.
The spam filter setting we suggest is "4" and to delete messages marked as spam. One thing which may be confusing when scrutinizing the spam filter controls: if the little switch reads "disable" then it is already enabled.
The autoresponder is a great feature to use when you are out of the office. An automatic reply is sent back to anyone who emails to you while you are away (for as long as it is enabled)
Any questions - enter the item of interest and then click the "Help" link on the left sidebar.
Crestone Creations can change passwords, but not read them, so if you ever need a password changed for you we can do that.
If you still have access to the password info, you can log in and change it on your own given the means above.
