Battles between Somebodies and Nobodies: Combat Abuse of Rank at Work and Home by Julie Ann Wambach, PhD.
Her experience as a dispute mediator and counselor prompted Dr. Wambach to assemble this book on the dynamics of power and handling situations wherein power is abused. She delves into the nature of hierarchies and notes that conflict within social groups turns into rankism when those in charge promote themselves and their interests while bringing harm to a person or community. |

Lost in Tibet: The untold story of five American airmen, a doomed plane, and the will to survive by Richard Starks and Murcutt, Miriam.
Caught in a violent storm and blown far off their intended course, five American airmen--flying the dangerous Himalayan supply route known as "The Hump"--were forced to bail out just seconds before their plane ran out of fuel. To their astonishment, they found they had landed in the heart of Tibet. There they had to confront what, to them, seemed a bizarre--even alien--people. At the same time, they had to extricate themselves from the political turmoil that even then was raging around Tibet's right to be independent from China. |

Demonstrated experience with Chicago, AP and GPO style manuals, and access to other style guides as needed.
My editing and editorial/production experience is eclectic, reflecting a wide range of interests and opportunities I've enjoyed while working in this field for more than 25 years. Aside from my editing and proofreading skills, I bring creativity, conscientiousness, and attention to detail to all my projects. I now live in a rural Georgia community, which virtually requires me to work out of remote station, communicating effectively by e-mail, phone, fax and express mail, but am open to travel as necessary for the right project.
